To celebrate World Menopause Day on Tuesday 18th October 2022, the University will hold an online event from 9:30am-10:30am to discuss the importance of highlighting menopause in the workplace and offering an insight into the Menopause guidance document along with how the document can help all staff. 

The University is now offering practical sessions specifically for line managers , to enable you to support colleagues during the menopause, to help keep them well in work.

A new Menopause Lounge is also launched today, which will offer space for learning and peer support on a monthly basis, starting in December. Please join this for ongoing information about meeting dates and access to a support forum.

We are committed to breaking the taboo and supporting all managers to enable best practice when implementing support for staff experiencing menopause symptoms at work.”
